COLOR
Van Dieman's Emerald Eyes is a bright, bold green that leans slightly cyan/teal.

CHARACTER

The shading on this ink is low to medium. However, it is packed with a very pretty green shimmer that enhances its color. I don't find any hint of sheen.
CONSISTENCY

The shimmer in this ink is so nice. It flows fairly well for how glittery it is. The shimmer does need to be agitated in the pen fairly often to keep it flowing, but it's so nice to catch the bright flash of green on green.
I also found that it behaved well on most papers, with very little bleedthrough.

CONCLUSION
I have something to admit. I did in fact buy this ink primarily for the cat theme, but I'm so glad I did; it's a beautiful green and a really fun ink.
