COLOR
Rohrer & Klingner Helianthus is such a fun color. It is a bright and sunny yellow that almost seems to glow on the page. It lightly shifts to orange, but in practice is almost a brighter yellow than my phone or scanner are willing to capture.

CHARACTER

This ink has low to medium shading on most pages. It almost has a matted quality to it - it's like the opposite of sheen.
CONSISTENCY

I find this ink to have normal flow, maybe on the slightly drier side. It is definitely an ink that will get the orange ink crusties all over the nib.
Helianthus feathered slightly on Rhodia paper and had some bleedthrough, but overall worked well on most papers.
Nebula, Clairefontaine, and Tomoe River paper

CONCLUSION
I find that bright inks are more fun to play with rather than journal in, and that's mostly due to the challenge of reading the lighter text afterwards. Helianthus is bright but actually incredibly legible, which is a nice surprise! It's a fun ink and it looks great in pens that allow the ink to be visible, like demonstrators.
