COLOR
Robert Oster Evening Sapphire is a really lovely mid-cobalt blue. This blue is one of my favorites!

CHARACTER

This ink has a moderate range of shading and no sheen
CONSISTENCY

This is a slightly dry ink with a decently quick dry time. In my experience it's a well behaved ink but in tighter nibs it can contribute to some skipping. It very rarely gives me any trouble with bleedthrough or feathering.

CONCLUSION
I really love this ink. It's a lovely dusky, slightly desaturated blue and behaves well for most papers. I occasionally have some trouble with flow in already problematic nibs, but even that trouble is very slight. It just tends to work better in proven wet nibs.
