COLOR
Monteverde Zebra is part of the Jungle Ink series. It is a bold dark blue, decently dark but with some extra saturation that makes it hard to call it a true blue-black.

CHARACTER

I see very low shading or and little to no sheening with this ink. It's a pretty consistent color, which can be nice to see!
CONSISTENCY

This ink has pretty wet flow. Unfortunately, it is also prone to feathering, but strangely it mainly does this with Tomoe River paper. I rarely see feathering on that particular paper, but with this ink it feathered worse on Tomoe River than any other paper.
Very odd! I'll have to experiment with it more to see why it has this reaction to one paper type. It is also prone to bleedthrough across multiple paper types.

CONCLUSION
I am a huge fan of blue inks, so I'm always biased when it comes to using them. I like how this looks like a blue-black from a distance but has just a little extra intensity to add an extra 'zing' upon closer examination.
