COLOR
Monteverde Moonstone is part of the Gemstone ink series. It is a deep cocoa brown that shows some greenish tones on certain papers, and some reddish tones on others.

CHARACTER

This ink does have some slight shading and no sheen.
CONSISTENCY

In my experience, Moonstone is a fairly dry ink, but it behaves very well and I didn't have much feathering even on cheap papers.

CONCLUSION
This was one of my first brown inks, and I still enjoy using it. I love that it's a dark smoky brown on most papers, but upon switching paper suddenly it's almost olive green or a brighter chocolatey brown.
