COLOR
Esterbrook Tangerine is a bright, sunny yellow-orange with gold shimmer.

CHARACTER

I love how inks in this color family shade. It has such a dynamic range of shades on the page. It shades very easily.
The gold shimmer is very dense and looks great on the page. It can be so dense that it actually covers up the shading at times.
CONSISTENCY

Tangerine is a fun color that seems like it would be a nice, wet ink if it wasn't for the shimmer. It's such a dense shimmer that I've had some issues with flow in two pens that I've tried it in. It is not the worst I've ever experienced, but it is something I now keep in mind.

CONCLUSION
Orange inks are fun to use on cloudy, gloomy days - they always seem so cheerful! The shimmer is a fun touch, but it does make this ink harder to work with. Additionally, the shimmer is so fine and dense at times that it is a bit prone to smearing out of the letter, or transferring to other pages or my fingers.
