COLOR
Diamine Winter Miracle is a lovely purple with bright green sheen and a bright blue shimmer. It's a bit warmer in color than Diamine Raise a Glass.

CHARACTER

This ink is very complex! The purple comes through decently in writing but is nearly overpowered in swatches. The high sheen kicks in when a moderate amount of ink is on the paper. I find that in normal writing you have to press a bit to get enough ink to really show off the sheening, but the shimmer comes through at normal writing pressure.
CONSISTENCY

Even considering that this is a shimmer ink, I found this ink to have pretty normal flow. I like that it's not a super wet ink; I feel like it gives me the option to choose how much sheen I get just by adjusting the writing pressure.

CONCLUSION
I know shimmer inks can be polarizing, but I still enjoy writing with them. This ink is such an interesting color combination. Diamine Winter Miracle was originally released as part of the Inkvent 2019 calendar, but of course I had to grab a big bottle when it came out.
