COLOR
Diamine Shimmering Seas is a darker, moderate blue color with bright yellow shimmer. It is not dark enough to call it a blue-black or indigo.

CHARACTER

This ink has low shading, a hint of rusty red-bronze sheen, and tons of shimmer. I love the contrast of the bright gold against the blue ink!
CONSISTENCY

I found this ink to have some flow issues, though that could be a consequence of the shimmer and the pen I was using. It's certainly not the worst experience I've had with a shimmer ink! I plan to try it next in a medium or broad nibbed pen.

CONCLUSION
I really want to like this ink. When it's flowing well it looks amazing! However, it's a dry enough ink that between that and the shimmer I've had some issues getting it to behave the way I would like. I'm going to try some of the general recommendations (Teeny dab of dish soap, using it in a known firehose pen) when I return to it next.
