VISUAL

This Momento Zero features a beautiful swirling turquoise resin barrel. I love the mottled swirls and the flash of chatoyance. Most Momento Zero pens are made from a single resin blank, so it's interesting to see one with a contrasting cap. I really love the classy look! The matte black looks really good when paired with the dark black chrome bands.
The Momento Zero is a medium sized angular pen, with conical finials and a sloping cap and barrel. The widest part of the pen is in the center. This particular edition features a matte black cap, end cap, and section, with a turquoise barrel. The cap bands, clip, and nib are a chrome black.
TACTILE
I really love how the Momento Zero fits in my hand. The matte section is very pleasant to hold - it's smooth but has enough grip to write easily. The pen itself is very well balanced. I absolutely enjoy writing with it.
The barrel is engraved with the brand name and the limited edition number. It's able to be felt, but not super noticeable or irritating to the touch.
PRACTICAL
There is a magic in writing with a pen that just fits perfectly in the hand. The slightly angled grip works quite well - I thought it would be awkward, but it works!

This pen is equipped with a Bock nib that comes from the pre-2021 era, before they started using Jowo nibs in the Momento Zero. It is coated in a black chrome finish that unfortunately has started to flake on the underside after a few years of use. It still writes fine, but it's a bit scratchier. I may look into replacing it soon.

OVERALL
Pros:
Beautiful pen (I'm a sucker for turquoise)
Great size and weight
Posts very well
Cons:
Nib coating did not last, flaking off
I'm a big fan of Leonardo pens, and I love the variety of colors that they come in. This was my first pen from them, and it holds a special place in my collection. It helps that I really like this particular shade of teal! I may have some issues with this particular nib, but that's a risk with plated nibs in general.
This pen is a limited edition I purchased in 2020 from Pen Chalet.
