COLOR
Sailor Ink Studio has a number of interesting 'chromashader' colors. 280 is most commonly a light brown/mustard yellow with a slightly green tone. However, on some papers like Tomoe River, a surprising amount of salmon-peach color appears. Additionally, some olive green shades pop through. It's fascinating!

CHARACTER

This ink has a lot of shading. Due to it being a chromashading ink, the variety of color present in the shading is very fun. Additionally, it is an ink that really changes based on the paper you use. I think I may have more fun experimenting with this ink than actually journaling with it.
CONSISTENCY

I would say that this ink has normal flow. It writes well, and puts down enough ink to get the fun shading while not dumping down so much that the entire letter gets flooded.
It does have a fair amount of bleedthrough on some papers. Interestingly, when it bleeds through, the darkest green colors are what show on the reverse side of the paper. On Rhodia paper, the ink on the front of the paper didn't feather on the top layer but the dark greens bled through enough that you can see a bit of a ghosted halo coming in from behind the ink on the front of the page.

CONCLUSION
I am fascinated by chromashading inks. I know this particular color may not be for everyone - Brown/yellow/green is not generally considered 'pretty' and I wish the corally pink would show up on more papers. However, I still find it interesting to try out and experiment with it on different papers just to see what happens.
Sailor Ink Studio inks are available at most stationery retailers. I purchased this bottle from Dromgoole's.
