VISUAL

I had not heard of Scrikss prior to stumbling across this pen. Apparently, it is a manufacturer from Turkey. This is a very cute pen! Surprisingly, it is a lightweight plastic piston filler with an ink window.
The pen is a lovely bright yellow with gold trim. The ink window is only visible when the pen is uncapped. It is a large clear ink window that gives ample ink visibility.
There is a step down to the piston knob, but it blends so nicely with the barrel that at first glance I would never guess this was a piston pen.
TACTILE
The injection molded plastic is solid and feels good to the touch - it's always hard to describe the difference between 'very cheap' plastic and 'mid range' plastic.
The tapered section is fairly small, and my fingers tend to rest on the cap threads. They are decently sharp; not too much of an issue, but they have the potential of being annoying. The section is a bit on the thinner side for my preferences, but that's a known bias of mine.
PRACTICAL

This medium nib is rather pretty for being a smaller nib. It is a decently wet writer, though I feel that sometimes it seems that the feed can't keep up. I may just need to try another ink, but it's a bit frustrating.
The piston filling mechanism works great and is very satisfying. I love that the cap posts securely over the barrel of the pen, not the piston knob. It is so nice being able to post and not having to worry about accidentally twisting the piston knob.

OVERALL
Pros:
Bright and fun colors
Piston filler and an ink window for under $40
Cons:
Thinner section
Some flow issues when writing - need to rule out ink or cleaning issues
I'm glad I gave this pen a try! It's a bit of a smaller pen - not quite a pocket pen, but it's similar in size to the Sailor Pro Gear Slim or Esterbrook JR.
