VISUAL

There is something very satisfying about this sleek pen's silhouette in matte black. The Avatar UR is a long resin pen with a nice curving spring clip and a detailed cap band. I really love how this pen looks in all matte black.
The clip and cap band are also matte, but as they are metal rather than resin, they are more of a satin matte. It's a very satisfying effect.
TACTILE
Matte textures make my fingers happy. I love how this pen feels in my hand. The pen itself is long, and due to its length it looks thinner than it feels. It's a decently weighty pen and doesn't feel cheap.
It does have an incredibly tapered section. For whatever reason, the section seems to be slightly less matte than the rest of the pen, and has ever so slightly less friction. This, combined with the extreme taper of the section, does lead to a bit of cramping while I write.
PRACTICAL

This pen features a very nice fine nib. I would say that it writes well when first inked, but I don't have the best luck with the magnetic closure and find that this pen is prone to drying out.
Additionally, the glue holding the magnetic collar inside the cap immediately failed in my pen. It occasionally leaves the magnet attached to the section when uncapped, which may also be why I'm having issues with hard starts. It isn't a challenge to fix, but it's frustrating that it happened in the first place.
The cap does post nicely, but as the pen is already long it turns into a very long wand when posted. Fortunately, the cap is nice and lightweight, so I'm fine with the length!

OVERALL
Pros:
I love the stealth pen all-black look
Pineider has some great nibs, and they look great too!
Cons:
Magnetic caps tend to not seal great in my experience, which can lead to hard starts
Magnet isn't firmly glued into the cap
I have the Pineider Avatar UR in both this matte black as well as a shiny black with silver clip. Of those pens, this is definitely my favorite. I haven't stress tested the 'Ultra Resin' to any major extremes, but this pen has survived multiple work days in a pocket with no scuffs, so that's something!
