VISUAL

The Montegrappa Felicita is a petite, slim pen made of swirling, sparkling medium gray resin. Very fine silver glitter is mixed throughout. The resin also flashes with a good amount of chatoyance, especially on the cap. The section is also made of the same resin.
There is a wide cap band that perfectly slopes down to the barrel. The clip is a silver static clip with a roller end.
TACTILE
As a smaller pen, this particular model is fairly lightweight. The resin is polished to a high shine and feels very good in the hand. The cap is the widest part of the pen, and the cap band slopes down to meet the body perfectly. It is rather satisfying how nicely it joins the oval/egg shaped cap to the slightly tapered barrel.
The clip is rather small and very stiff. I rarely use clips for their intended purpose - they are glorified roll stops for me. But goodness, I imagine this would be a challenge to clip onto anything.
PRACTICAL

I sometimes struggle to write with thinner pens for long sessions. This pen is on the thinner side, but the grip is still comfortable. It features a smaller #5 nib that writes well.
I feel that posting is necessary with this pen. The cap posts securely and the Felicita is a really comfortable length once posted. I would say it is long enough to be usable unposted, but I prefer the length and heft of the posted pen.

OVERALL
Pros:
Really pretty resin with a lot of depth
Posts securely
Cons:
Smaller pen - a bit underwhelming for the price point
I received the Montegrappa Felicita as part of a mystery pen box from Truphae. I really enjoy pen mystery boxes because they introduce me to pens that I would not normally have thought to try. That said, the retail price for this pen is a bit higher than I think is warranted. That could be my bias against thinner pens speaking, but I would not pay MSRP for this pen. I appreciate it for all of its good features, but there are a lot of pens in the $200+ bracket that I would choose above this particular model.
