VISUAL

I love the simplicity of this pen design. The MIG fountain pen is a raw brass fountain pen with a knurled grip. It is a mostly uniform diameter from end to end. There is a nearly imperceptible tapering of 1mm in the barrel, which is only apparent when screwing the cap on to post it. The small cap features a steel clip. I love how this pen looks with the knurled grip - it really catches the light! There is also a gridded grip available for this pen - it too is great, but I find myself using the knurled grip more often.
TACTILE
This pen is on the smaller size in regards to length, but it feels so much more substantial. I love heavy pens, so I really enjoy metal pens like this one. The knurling is incredibly grippy - a bit sharp, but not uncomfortably so.
The cap is short but decently heavy for its size. Making it short was a great choice; it posts nicely and screws on in one and a half turns, but it doesn't backweight the pen.
The mini version is so very tiny, even when posted! It is absolutely adorable, and totally useable for my hand size. If I had slightly larger hands, however, it would be a different story.
PRACTICAL

Occasionally when using a 5mm nib I find myself thinking it feels so small in relation to the pen. This nib is the perfect scale for this pen. It's a great writer, too!
I find that the 11mm width of the section is also super comfortable to use for longer writing sessions. I have plenty of larger pens that have thinner grips, so it's nice to have a thinner pen that still feels substantial between my fingers.
Converting between the longer and mini sizes of this pen is actually pretty easy. I prefer the longer size for most of the time, but it's so nice to be able to transform it into the pocket version. Unfortunately, the pocket size only takes cartridges. I usually fill an empty cartridge with the same ink to not have to worry about fully cleaning the pen in between swaps. The grip is also easy to swap, as the nib housing easily unscrews.

OVERALL
Pros:
Heavy raw metal pen
Beauty in Simplicity
Well-balanced
Transformable
Cons:
Need to purchase the proprietary converter if you prefer converters
A bit of a steep jump in price for the slight change in aesthetics
As someone who loves raw metal pens I am a bit biased when I say that I really love this pen. I find that it's a good compromise between the heft that I love out of metal pens and the ability to write for longer without experiencing hand fatigue.
