VISUAL

The LAMY Accent is a sleek pen with subtle style. I'm surprised that I don't hear more people talking about this pen, as I really love how it looks. It is a metal pen coated in a shiny black lacquer. The most unique feature is a slightly convex, interchangeable grip section. This particular one, called Black Diamond, is a striped black lacquer and silver metal. I've looked up others and they have quite the variety, from resin to wood and other fun textures and colors. I may have to try some of those options!
The short cap features a hinged clip. With a shorter cap and the slight bulge in the center of the grip, this pen has a subtly unique silhouette.
TACTILE
This pen is heavier than I expected based on how thin it appears. I think it appears 'thin' due to its length - it's actually a decently large pen. The grip has a slight texture given by the alternating lacquer and metal bands, and is actually pretty comfortable to hold. I thought at first that the shape would make it harder to hold, but in use the opposite is true. The grip section is subtly wider than the rest of the barrel, and it feels very nice in the hand. There is a small amount of plastic and a step up between the nib unit and the grip, which makes it feel like I'm holding back further on the body.
PRACTICAL

I am a fan of LAMY's 14k nibs. They're bouncy during regular writing with satisfying spring back. This nib also has an almost Sailor-like feedback. I'm ambivalent about feedback in my nibs, but when I have one with pleasing feedback I do appreciate it!
The cap unscrews in only a quarter turn, which is amazing. It is as close as possible to being as easy to uncap as a snap-cap pen, but with the security and extra sealing power of a screw-cap.
The base finial of the Accent is plastic, with two small protruding bumps on the side. This is designed for posting the cap quickly and securely. It posts on with a very pleasing little pop! When posted, this pen is fairly long but because the cap is so relatively short, it doesn't change the weight distribution too much. Even posted, it is still shorter than a posted LAMY Safari.

OVERALL
Pros:
Unique customizable design
Very nice nib
Super nice uncapping and posting design features
Cons:
I had occasional flow issues on the downstroke using a shimmer ink, but otherwise it wrote great.
I had not heard of the LAMY Accent until getting it in a Truphae Inkcredible box, and I'm so in love with it. It is such a nice pen, and I find that I like it more than the comparable LAMY Studio in terms of design features.
